Matt Ross has been living and working in the Roaring Fork Valley for the last thirty years. Besides creating and running his own businesses and helping his clients find or sell their dream homes, he has a strong connection with the Aspen and Ski community. His life experiences and volunteer work provides Matt with his dedication to hard work and eye for detail.

Matt’s passion for skiing and the outdoor life were sparked when he attended the Green Mountain Valley School, a ski academy in Vermont. He raced in Europe on two occasions, competing in FIS B level races. He continued his career and skied for The University of Vermont. Twice Matt competed in the 24 Hours of Aspen Ski Race, a physical endurance test that’s not for the faint of heart or spirit. Many refer to it as the toughest ski race in the world.

As a volunteer member of the Roaring Fork Fire Protection District as a fireman and an EMT, Matt experiences a sense of fulfillment. 72 hours on the initial attack of the Lake Christine fire in 2018 as a first responder gave him an opportunity to truly give back to his community. These skills are indicative of Matt’s commitment to hard work and service. He’s a realtor who’ll get the job done efficiently and effectively…and he just might get your kids a ride in a fire truck!
